History of Beless
Many years ago, this land known as Beless was ruled by the two legged creatures known as the humans, whom built large cities from the low valleys to the high mountains. No other creature had been able to grasp the land like the humans, nor could they seem to gain control of it from them... Until only recently… Three hundred years ago, humans caught some strange disease, causing them to die off. Many left the land, not wanting to stay, but the animals were left behind. Horses mostly… They started to live within’ the land, started to multiply and take it over again. Other animals also, but mostly the horses.
After only one hundred years, the horses had become numerous, they were now the rulers of this land. Humans never came back, most believed they were gone for good, but on other continents they still lived, but they stayed away from this land, stayed on the other side of the northern mountains and stayed on their side of the western desert. They thought this land was the cause of the disease and so, they stayed away, they did not want to bring the stuff to them. Many had died, many had watched as others were torments… So now, the horses of Beless held this land and they knew it.
Many towns were nothing more then ruins, some had been kept up the cities to use by the herd lands. Some of the land was taken over by forest and rivers. To this day, black asphalt roads still line the forest in places, trees can be seen coming out of the middle of the road and some of paint can still be seen, but it is not by much. Some of the horses have come to enjoy these roads and some have learn to make paint to keep the yellow and white lines. Old buildings have either collapsed or have been kept up by the horses to use.Welcome to Beless
