[/b]Battling, Royalty, & Judging
Challenge Rules
- MUST HAVE Three(3) followers before you can challenge for a herd land.
- MUST BE active roleplayer who isn’t just going to challenge the land and leave it dead.
- MUST DECIDE on terms that both parties agree to. If parties cannot agree, Staff member will set terms.
- If the challenged horse refuses to fight, he loses whatever was challenged for. (ex. Land, title, mare/stallion)
- When title in a herd is challenged for, the primary royal must approve first. The means, if someone challenges the Queen, the King must approve if she is not the Primary royal.
- In order to challenge for Alliance King/Queen you must be the following: a member of the same alliance, a member for three(3) months, active for at least the last month before challenging.
- Once terms have been set, contact a staff member. They will post the first battle post with the terms and description of surrounding area, along with time of day and season.
Battle Rules
- Each member has one week(7 days) to reply, unless other terms have been set for that.
- Horses can battle anywhere in the land, except in some places(these places will be marked).
- Each battler has a maximum of five(5) attacks with only two(2) dodges. You can decided to have less attacks or dodges, this is completely up to you.
- If we see powerplaying or god-mode, the member who used it will be disqualified and you will not be able to challenge for two weeks.
- You can fight for anything, including: land, alliance, positions, or just for fun.
- Nothing is to be used in a battle unless it is actually a part of the horse, meaning: no branches, sticks, rocks, or rope. However, the area around you can be used, such as: sand, dirt, or water. (ex. Horse one ran at horse two, however, he slide to sudden halt causing dirt to go into the air, possible going into horse two’s eye.)
Battling for Mare
- CONCERNING MARES – If a mare is being challenged for, she must go with winner, no fighting at all. Mare must stay with winner for one month before she is allowed to leave at any time. She can also choose to stay.
- Members do need to agree on battling for characters, however, this does make things very interesting and it is never permanent unless you want to plot otherwise.
Recovery Time
- Two weeks of recovery before horses can be challenged again or send out a challenge.
- If you are a royal horse, you have one month to recover before you can be challenged again.
- In order to gain recovery time, you must battle. Which means if you are given, passed down, or forfeited to you do not get recovery time and you only get the one week immunity.
- Once the battle is judge, immunity starts.
- If a battle is not finished (forfeit to the winner) only the winner receive recovery time. The loser cannot receive because he/she did not finish battle.
Royalty
- Each alliance is ruled by royalty, which will be a King and Queen of the alliance. (ex. King & Queen of the Lights)
- These character will lay down the law for the alliance (approved by staff of course) and these laws will need to be followed by the alliance members.
- If these In-Character laws are broken, the royalty can decide what happens to the character punishment wise.
- There does not have to be two ruling royal members (ex. King & Queen). There only has to be one royalty leading an Alliance.
- The rules that are placed by the royalty do not have to be followed. As long as you follow the site rules you are fine. However, do understand that if you break an alliance law, the character breaking that law might be punished by the royalty. (ex. Being kicked out of an alliance)
- In order to be a royal, you must be active. If you are absent, without reason, you will be removed from the royalty position and when you return, you will have to wait two months before trying out again to be a royal. We need active royals, inactivity of royals cannot happen.
- Royalty can do the following: change the alliance rules, board description, change the number of herds or create more herds if the alliance grows.
- You may not play two royalty. (ex. Dark king & Light queen)
- There must be a minimum of two alliances at a time and a maximum of four.
Claiming & Holding Royal Position
- Once you claim a alliance, you have two week immunity.
- Alliances cannot be changed. Light cannot be changed into dark. Light will stay light; Dark will stay dark.
- BE ACTIVE! Royalty must stay active, so they must post in the alliance board three times a week. This does include the same thread. If a alliance leader is inactive, the alliance is given to the first person to claim it.
- Members who play royalty have to hand down the throne while they are gone if they are gone for more than two weeks. Once member has returned, everything will resume as normal. However, King had better choice someone who is trustworthy, because character does not have to return it at all. If you do not pass the throne before you leave, it will become open and anyone can claim.
Battle Judges
- Staff and other approved members are the only members who are allowed to judge.
- If one of the members in the battle feels that the judge was being unfair and picking favorite then you can send a message to the administrator or another staff member asking for another judging. If this is asked for, three anonymous people will judge the battle, send in there thoughts and who they believe will be winner to the administrator and then the administrator will post the new winner.
- If you want another judging, please contact someone with 72 hour(3 days) or else the same judging will still stand. If you appeal after that 72 hours, it will be ignored.
- No member participating in the battle may chose the judge, unless it is a battle for fun.
