The warmth of the sands and the land around him was comforting and he smiled as he moved over the sands, his hooves absorbing the impact with great grace. His black mane moved along his neck and his withers, his tail flicking slightly causing some of the sand to fly into the air. He tossed his head and brown eyes looked around everything that was near him. This land was beautiful and he quite enjoyed it, though it was not the Egyptian Desert that he was born within’. He snorted, arching his neck as his feet lifted high into the air before he came to a stop near a trail that went into the brush away from the shoreline. He snorted and nickered, calling to any horses whom might be near…
Silence… The only sound coming from the waves hitting the shore. He turned his eyes, his thought wondering if maybe the God, Sobek, also ruled these waters as well as the Nile. It was possible, but he had only know of Sobek to be the God of the River Nile, not of any other body of water. He would have to think of that some other time... He turned to look at the land before rearing high into the air and allowing his vocal cords to produce a much louder sound in hope to get the attention of someone within’ the land. ”Great Bes, protect me from any ill willed horses whom roam these lands, if there are any.” He said, glancing around as he hoped that the god of protection would keep an eye on him.

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,467,true] | [atrb=background,http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/5729/laee.png] He would admit, he was getting lonely. The lands of the Divine were quiet and lacked the equines that it should be holding. Laermeluion wished to have a herd that thrived and would grow. However, so far, the lands were bare and quiet. It frustrated the King to quite and extent. He offered his home to anyone of the Divine alliance and wished to live in such a grand place. But so far, there seemed to be a shortage of the alliance in which he ruled. It saddened him. Laer knew that the Demonic alliance was growing. He needed to make sure that at any moments notice, he would be able to protect the home he loved. The painted stud did have one thing on his side however, it seemed as though the Demonic King was disgusted by mixed breeds. Would he allow those of mixed blood join his herd? That was questionable. But these days, there were not many left of such bloodline. Laer knew this, for he himself was one of mixed blood. He would never stood to such low levels in which the one known as Felix Hell did. Never.
To clear his head, Laer decided he would head to the beach. It was a beautiful place and he enjoyed to walk through the pale sands. With the sounds of the waves crashing against each other and the banks themselves, it made a great place to think or relax. But at the moment, Laer needed to think more than relax. He needed to figure out how to raise his numbers. Raise them to be able to protect the ones that needed it most. They needed to be able to stand up against the demonic raise if it was ever needed to be done.
So making his way through the dense brush of his home, in the distance he heard that of a voice. Laer didn't like not knowing what was going on in his lands so immediately he picked up his pace and made his way towards the opening of the jungle to the beach. He lept over a large tree trunk that had fallen over into the pathway, landing with a thud on the other side. He slowed as he neared the opening and then walked out, his gaze appearing on that of another equine, a stallion to boot. He snorted and tossed his head, and nickered to the stallion. Greetings. Welcome to Tyriel, my home. What is it you seek here sir? His voice was not threatning in any way but held a sort of authoritive tone mixed in with his deep lyrics. He continued to walk out towards the other stallion, taking in his grey pelt and black locks, arabian blood it seemed as well. His lobes were pricked forward, awaiting the studs explanation.

He remembered the stories of the Nile touching a great sea and he smiled. ”You are with me Sebok… I know you are.” He said to the ocean, looking out over the land and knowing the great Nile God did travel the oceans and seas, it was his domain. He could hunt in the open water, he had to in order to eat fish. He moved closer to the edge of the water, the wind touching his body, causing him to lift his head and close his eyes. It felt wonderful to be able to relax, but he needed to still be careful. These were not his lands, he was in the land of another and he had to be careful. Even though this was said to belong to Laermeluion, the King of the Divine, Amenhotep was wary of the land. He did not know the beast, was not sure if he could be trusted but he had to try and find out. There were rumors that he was of mixed blood, but just because they were mixed did not mean they are bad company. It just meant they were not put and Amenhotep was, there was no different in anything about them, they were horses and horses needed each other.
He could not smell many other horses upon this land, he barely smelt any at all other than those whom had come through this land before. It worried the great Prince beyond believe. What the alliance was not as strong as the other? What if war broke out? Amenhotep was sure he could find help from the great herds of the western deserts, but that was over a month of travel, such resources were too far away. He tossed his head and turned his head to the sun which shown down upon them. ”Great Ra, what is it that you want me to do?”

[/color] He asked the great Sun god, knowing he would have the answers. The sound of a thud coming from the brush behind him and he turned, his black mane being caught by the wind and being pulled slightly. The stallion was painted and held a very interesting pattern upon him. ”Greetings. Welcome to Tyriel, my home. What is it you seek here sir?” The former prince bowed his head, his eyes closed in a sign of respect. ”Hello… Thank You for such a greeting… I am Amenhotep, son of Ahmose and Tjenna from the great Egyptian Deserts… I have come to seek a place within’ your herd.”[/color] He said to the stallion, his black tail flowing slightly in the ocean wind. He took in the air, the salty taste touching his tongue as he opened his mouth and spoke.
