The elegant bay stallion confidently walked into the remains of what must have once been a human settlement of some sort. He had caught the scent of other equines a while back and followed it here, it seemed there was at least a couple horses living in the area. He'd heard that horses of the Demonic Alliance lived in the area, but that was no problem for him, as he hoped to join them anyway. It made sense, he'd have others to protect him and hopefully an endless supply of mares to help further his line. All he had to do was find a horse somewhere in the seemingly deserted place.

Felix Hell had smelt the intruder before he had come into the sight, the wind pushed into his home through the broken windows. Where was that pathetic mare? Burnt Ashes was supposed to be on patrol, where was the pathetic wretch?! He was beyond mad, he was pissed. The mare was not doing her job… He tossed his head as he moved out from the building, his eyes landing on the bay stallion that had crossed into his land. He would question the mare later, she could easily be on the other end of the land and wouldn’t know about the stallion. She would still be spoken to, he wanted to know why another had come to his lands and a stallion at that. As he moved outside of the building, the darkness of the hospital loomed over his body and he lifted his head high, looking at the stallion from where he stood. ”What do you want?” His words were emotionless, but they still held a form of power that demanded answers and would get those answers.

Luck seemed to be on his side, as he barely had to step foot into the place and a black stallion stepped out from the shadows. ”What do you want?” He asked plainly. Genio held back a snort. This horse wasn't very friendly, but what did he expect from an alliance that called themselves demonic. It didn't bother him anyways, he was here with a goal and he was going to get what he wanted, he always did after all. He smiled dryly. "I'm here to join the Demonic Alliance. I heard this was where they had settled." He replied equally emotionless. He did his best to seem only slightly interested, it was best not to look like a desperate puppy in his opinion. He didn't want this stallion getting the impression he was weak after all, as he was not. At the same time it probably wasn't a good idea to alienate anyone that he met, at least not until he had a firm footing in this herd. Then perhaps he'd step on a few hooves to get where he wanted to go.

They were the same height if Felix was looking properly and judging properly. Long neck, high withers and a strong deep chest… His back was short but good depth in the hindquarters… Lean body and long legs… The black frisian was looking at a fellow pure blood, but one of the thoroughbred line. Well, it was refreshing to finally actually met another of pure blood, he wondered if he was one of those stallions that would breed any good looking mare without looking into their blood line. It would be a setback in the beginning of the black beast’s thoughts on him. ”I'm here to join the Demonic Alliance. I heard this was where they had settled." Felix snorted, moving towards the stallion and stopping a few feet back. ”This is one of the herd lands of the alliance… The royal herd lands… I am Felix Hell, King of the Demonic Alliance. What is your name, brute?” He asked the stallion in a demanding and strong voice. Felix Hell own voice was strong and very proper. He did not believe in being disrespectful, or completely disrespectful. He would even be respectful to that disgusting mix breed divine king, but he would not push it to friendship.

The king huh? Looks like I came to the right place. Thought the bay. The stallion was a bit demanding, but he wasn't disrespectful or anything. Still, Genio was a bit put off. He reminded himself of his goal, and continued on with an introduction. "I am Efigenio Agapito, most simply call me Genio though."

With his introduction complete Genio surveyed the area. If this was a potential home it would have to meet his standards. The old buildings would provide shelter, as well as the trees, and there seemed to be a fair amount of grass available for eating purposes. He then looked over Felix. If this was to be his leader he'd have to be suitable. Thus far he'd proven alright, he hadn't made Genio too angry yet at least, which was a good sign. By his appearance he had Frisian in him, he might even be a pure blood, though such a thing seemed rare these days. All in all he seemed respectable enough. Yes, this would be a perfectly suitable place to settle. "It's good to meet you Felix Hell." He finally said. It was a simple statement, with little emotion, but hopefully it'd do for now.

A quick flick of the ear alerted anyone that he was actually paying attention to the sounds around him, but other than that, no motion at all. His brown eyes studied the stallion whom had crossed his lands, watching his ever movement. ”I am Efigenio Agapito, most simply call me Genio though." It was a rather large mouthful of a name, but Felix merely nodded towards the stallion and watched as he glanced around the area known as his home. Felix was not one who cared for new people, it took time to trust someone and Felix took his time. But, he wanted to settle here in this land, hmm? Well, the pureblood would have to see how much he wanted to settle here when he noticed that all had to work and actually become something. Besides, there were two herd lands within’ the demonic alliance, why come here and not the other? Felix snorted slightly, catching the sound of the other who spoke once again. ”It's good to meet you Felix Hell." He looked at the stallion and gave a simple nod. ”Likewise… So, you want to settle here, hmm?” Felix said, flicking his tail before turning slightly and motion him to walk with him. The road he was on, made by humans many, many years ago. It went beside the hospital all the way to the far end, which was very large. The other horse remained still, simply nodding and saying. ”Likewise… So, you want to settle here, hmm?” Before Genio had a chance to reply the stallion had began walking, flicking his tail to signal Genio to follow. Immediately, the bay fell into step beside Felix. His mane and tail blew slightly in the wind and they walked. He wasn't sure where they were going, but it didn't concern him. "Yes, I would." He finally replied. Genio flicked his tail irritably. He had a feeling this was going to take a while, much to his displeasure. Genio was not known for his patience, though he did see why Felix Hell might want to talk to him for awhile before letting him join, you never knew who to trust after all. He just didn't see why he couldn't just get down to business and quiz him or something. All Genio wanted was a place to stay after all.

He thought everything through before he spoke and when he spoke, it was something he knew would be something that allowed great thought from others or other knew it was a demand that needed and world be followed. It didn’t take long for the other stallion to move to his side and follow him. Felix Hell didn’t have a problem with allowing the stallion to live in these lands, but he had questions and they would be answered first. ”Yes, I would." Felix nodded simply before glancing over at the stallion. ”This is not a simple herd, Genio… We are the royal herd, we lead the way for the Demonic Alliance… Those whom mess up here will be punished harder than those of the other herd.” He said, making the point clear… If there was a mess up, punishment would be handed out without a second thought. ”Will you have others to come to this land with you? A Mate? Children?”

[/color] He asked, wanting to know if more horses will be taken up by this stallion and those whom came with him.

Genio walked along beside the black stallion, feeling quite antsy all the way, his tail flicked now and then just for something to do. He wanted to get on with this, and Felix was making it far from easy. Thankfully, he finally started talking. It was more of a statement than a question though. ”This is not a simple herd, Genio… We are the royal herd, we lead the way for the Demonic Alliance… Those whom mess up here will be punished harder than those of the other herd.” The bay simply nodded, to affirm that he understood. It wasn't a big deal to him anyway, he was Efigenio Agapito, a pure blood Thoroughbred, when was he ever going to mess up?

He had scarcely acknowledged the strict rules of the herd, when Felix had changed the subject. ”Will you have others to come to this land with you? A Mate? Children?” The Frisian inquired. Unfortunately Genio had no mate or children, a fact he wished to change as soon as possible. At least, the fact he had no offspring, a mate could wait. He was a handsome young stallion, he didn't need some clingy mare tying him down. He didn't need to bother Felix with all that information though, so instead he just said what was important. "No. I do have a line to further however, and hope to have some offspring soon that could enlarge this herd." That seemed good enough, now he supposed it was back to waiting for the other stallion to reply. Something that may take awhile, if the course of their conversation so far was anything to go on.

Felix wanted to make sure all had a place to stay within’ this herd and he would make sure each building suited the size of the horse. Burnt Ashes had found her own a few days prior and he was sure she had not taken one too large, but he had not asked. As he asked about children, he looked at the stallion, waiting for the answer to come from the stallion. He needed to know the number of horses coming with the other and if there would be children to learn from the black beast. The idea was a good one but the thought of others only meant more numbers. It seemed the stallion was thinking of something, though the frisian did not know what was so complicated about the question. Yes or No? It was a simple answer and all the king needed to know. Black tail flicked slightly, causing a popping sound to happen at the end of his long, thick tail. His mane was caught by the wind, pushing it away from his body for a moment before it came back down against his strong neck. “No. I do have a line to further however, and hope to have some offspring soon that could enlarge this herd." He looked at the stallion for a moment and nodded. ”Than this building should do… It is large for your breed with plenty of room for you to expand your family… Once a child reaches a certain age, it will be tested by me and found if it is worthy enough to stay within’ this herd or to be sent out on his or her own to find a new herd… I am sure you understand.” He said to the stallion. He hoped this stallion was one whom actually cared for his lineage. He wouldn’t shame the stallion for breeding with another breed, at least, not outwardly. Felix just had standards and he liked it when others had the same standards.

The pair came to a stop in front of one of the many deserted and decaying buildings. It was a fair sized place, though the roof had a few holes in it, and parts of some of the walls had fallen in. It would make a good enough shelter though. ”Than this building should do… It is large for your breed with plenty of room for you to expand your family… Once a child reaches a certain age, it will be tested by me and found if it is worthy enough to stay within’ this herd or to be sent out on his or her own to find a new herd… I am sure you understand.” Genio nodded at the words. This would make a fine enough home, it was better than nothing after all, which was what he had before.

He understood Felix's need to test horses that wanted to stay in the herd, even those who'd been born there. After all, a herd was only as good as those who inhabited it. Genio was sure all of his offspring would pass the test swimmingly, if they wanted to stay in the herd anyway. He wasn't about to force anyone to do something they didn't want to, especially not his own flesh and blood. Besides, if a few didn't join the herd it would allow his bloodline to spread, his perfect Thoroughbred children, breeding more perfect Thoroughbred children. What a wonderful thought.

"Of course." He said with a nod as he continued to survey his new home. The answer, however simple, seemed to cover everything that needed to be said. Now it was up to Felix to make known anything else that had to be done before Genio could officially join the herd.

They gave good shelter from the storms that might come. Felix didn’t care about the comfort of his herd, he had check out each building and those around the hospital were in very good condition. He felt that they would make for good homes and it gave the land mystery that other lands didn’t have. He doubted that the land belonging to the Light King was anything like his own. He had heard rumors, saying that it was just a coastal land. So either they lived in the homes or outside in the weather when it was bad. They would have to learn to get over it. He looked at the building he had brought the stallion to and he wondered what the stallion thought, but he probably wouldn’t find out any time soon. He shook his head slightly, causing his mane to slap his neck and allow air where it had once been hot from the layer of mane. He thought over the test a young horse would have to go through… One foal could just be tested with certain test, but more than one foal would have to be placed up against each other. Loser would leave and winner would stay. It was a way to keep the demonic lands growing. Why should foals stay in the home of birth? They needed to go out and start their own herds, join new herds, make ties to others… It would help with making sure all herds stay connected. The beast would even test his own children, he would not give them the name “Hell” until they had proven their own worth. He had to prove his own worth at the age of two and he had been able to. He passed the test his parents had given him and he had earned his name. It was not just a name, it was a title. He was a Hell and he had earned that. ”Of course." He nodded and flicked his tail, backing up and beginning to return to his hospital. ”Do you plan on moving up in rank?” The stallion asked the other, wondering if he would be. Gaining rank proved that someone wanted to learn and be the best, and he had no problem with that.

Would he be moving up in rank? What a silly question, of course he would! He was a Thoroughbred, the descendant of the finest racehorses to roam the planet during the time of the humans. Would he be moving up in rank...Genio scoffed at the question inside. Only an idiot wouldn't be able to move up in rank because they were useless. Genio had goals, and he was most definitely not useless. He would move up in rank, there was no question in that. He'd move up as high as he could go. "Well, yes of course. I would be a shame to my line if I couldn't manage to move up in rank." He stated simply. It was a fact after all, and there would be no shaming of his line going on here.

Genio couldn't help but think they were moving along at a dreadfully slow pace, he wanted to join the hard, and this little quiz of questions was slowing down the process. He could handle a few well intentioned inquiries, but they'd been simply chatting for what seemed hours for the impatient stallion. At this point he would have rather taken some physical test to get into the herd, rather than this questionnaire. Of course, there was always the possibility that he would have to complete a physical test as well. The thought was not a pleasant one, it was an awful lot of work to get into a herd, even a royal one. The upside was that in the royal herd he'd have much more opportunity to advance high above other horses in the alliance. One day he'd be the most powerful horse in the alliance, but that could wait for now.

He had to know what was going to happen and plan for it. It seemed this stallion was rather stunned by his question and the black beast looked at him, waiting for whatever answer came from his lips. Felix did not fool around but he had no rush to move this stallion along. It was a patients game that Felix could play all day long. ”Well, yes of course. I would be a shame to my line if I couldn't manage to move up in rank." Brown eyes moved to the thoroughbred that walked beside him and he nodded. ”There are other ways to shame a line…” He stated, looking towards the front of the hospital as he came back. ”What rank would you want to move up to… Our highest other than myself and my future mate is General of the Army, which is my Personal army for this herd but it is the start of the Demonic Army.”

[/color] He said. One day, he would have another herd land next to this one that was ruled by a General he selected and would be the Demonic Army training grounds as well as meeting grounds. Horses would not have to join the herd, but they would be able to join the Army.

He stopped in front of the building and moved up a few stairs before looking back at him, waiting to hear what he wanted to become to this herd. The stallion had been given a home, so basically he was a part of the herd, just not been told he was. Maybe he could wait a few more moments before he actually told the stallion he was accepted.

”There are other ways to shame a line…” The comment seemed rather cryptic, even ominous. Efigenio was well aware there were plenty of ways to shame a herd, still, the comment put him on edge a bit. It seemed Felix would be a very judgmental leader. Of course, Genio agreed to shame your line was a terrible deed, but something about the way the horse talked made him uneasy. It wasn't noticeable, just a little feeling, almost a tug deep down inside of him. He got the feeling Felix Hell would be a strict leader indeed, and Genio wasn't all that great at taking orders, still, he had goals, and he would have to put up with the black stallion to achieve them. Besides, he's not that bad. He told himself. He could definitely do this, he was sure he could make his way up the totem pole easily.

"If that's the highest available position, that's what I aim for." The bay stated confidently. It seemed he was almost accepted, at least by the way Felix was talking. Soon he'd be a member of the demonic alliance, and from there who knows where he could go?
