Remember as a child, when your mother used to tell you to never look under the bed? It was a childhood myth that you would find a monster underneath the bed that would snatch you up if you weren't already sleeping. It was a way that mothers' coaxed them to bed, using a fear factor to make them want to sleep that much faster - - or if they were daring enough, they'd take a glimpse and then childhood was ended. That's when you realized that the only monster was inside of you or maybe that's just some of us that had the worst childhood imaginable so you make up fake scenes in your head to make your life seem that much better, when on the inside, you're screaming. Clawing at anything to get you out of there.
The sound of the heavy waves crashing against the blunt rock reeled the petite female's attention. Ears, her only source of protection right now quirked around towards the noise - almost hoping that it was a helper, but of course, the way she was raised - if you even asked for help, you were weak. If you gave out help, you were weak. There was no helping anyone in this world, it was all or nothing and it seemed like the weight of the world was always on your shoulders. Out of instinct. To protect her own self from danger. She groaned, a very unfeminine-like groan, one that sounded like it was on the brink of pain or even melancholy. If you were close enough, sure enough you'd notice the out of the ordinary crimson color just focusing on one part of her flank; a gash. More than likely from the rocks that pointed dangerously upwards. As if warning off visitors from playing here. Beckoning the naive to join them. The water making fox-like sly notions towards the solid earth, taunting it. It was quite the sight really, if you actually sat and payed attention to the way each different element reacted with one another.
"There goes the rest of my night," there wasn't sugarcoating a damn thing about this place. It was nothing like her former residence, an island - particularly in the middle of nowhere, not quite knowing how she'd reached the place - and not quite sure how she'd made it here either. The crescent-shaped moon had barely stretched above the water line, showing its bright face to its allies, the stars, as they proudly showed off the beauty that they withheld. Darkness. That's what she saw when she opened her eyes for the first time in a little over a few hours. The angry waves beckoning her to join, as if anger would reel her in and cast her out to the sharks. Yeah, no thanks.

When one was raised in a certain land for years, it was only natural to be found walking around the land... at night… right? Okay, maybe not as natural since most places were very dangerous at night, especially the Dagda shores. Why were they so dangerous at night? Well, it was a rocky shore, the rocks within’ the water were sharp and at night, the surf rose higher than normal and the moon was only crescent-shaped, the light was not as bright as that of a full moon. Maybe it was why the beast had come to shore hours prior, when the sun was just setting over the land. The beast stood within’ the trees that opened to the beach, watching the waves crash onto the shore and pull back, like it was trying to take the land into its black abyss below. The darkness had come quickly though and his eyes were upon the bay mare that had come ashore. Was he a stalker, waiting for the perfect opportunity? A killer watching to see if the waves had killed her? What was he doing here within’ the trees, the darkness covering his body, watching her? Maybe no one would ever know, maybe they would find out soon… or later…
The darkness had come quickly and his eyes had had plenty of time to adjust to the darkness and now, he could see her, even with the light dimmer than normal. He watched as her ears finally responded to the waves hitting the shore and he watched carefully. What would this washed up mare do? Would she need help? Like he would actually help her… This beast didn’t help many and those he did… Well, it wasn’t always help he provided… no, help was not on his list of things to give. Maybe protection for his family, if he had a future family. The sound of a groan reached the beast own ears, his dark body didn’t move, in fact, the breathing at slightly become shallow and quieter than prior. The groan was not one of a female’s, even though he knew this animal was a mare, she gave off that scent that only females gave off. No, that sound was one of slight pain or something else, but he was not one to ponder the sound of anything.
The faint hint of blood had been in the air since this bay mare had washed upon the shore that he stood away from. Most beast would have come and taken the mares body and ravished it, taking her meat into his own stomach… But not this beast, no he stood in the forest, just watching like a strange being, stalking his prey until they looked over their back so much they forgot to look forward. But, was this beast like that. She seemed to look at the wound that was upon her rump, allowing herself a good look before she spoke. ”There goes the rest of my night." The beast smiled towards the mare that was upon the shore and made his move. The Frisian moved over the sands, his hooves sinking into the rocky texture until he stood five yards away. ”Not a good night for a swim.” He said, a hint of amusement in his voice at he looked down at the mare. He couldn’t see her lineage, her breed, it was much too dark, but if he war around her during morning, maybe then he would find out. His large body stood over and he waited to see her reaction… The beast…

The night drew darker, and her patience thinned out. A slight struggle to get back on foot had worn her of her energy. Adrenaline pumped through her, for her own survival. Any predator would've had a field day with her wounded body. Considering she hadn't the strength to fight back physically. Pure luck. The only two words that were currently pulsing through her mind. Verbally, well, there's not much that would want a battle of wits and verbal abuse towards one another. It thrilled her, though. Perhaps it was her own guilty pleasure - - making others feel lower than the own ground that they stood on. Life was never fair - - so no point in making it easier on others', you always have to pull through the bad end to get to the good end or vice versa, just less willingly.
Her legs, which were once flailing more than clumsily, began to readjust themselves as she heaved her weight up onto all four feet. Hooves sinking into the thin earth. The mixture of sand and dirt from the beach blanketed each individual hoof as much as it possibly could. Wobbly but finally upward, not warding off many, there wasn't much of a difference in height as she stood. At a petite fourteen point three hands, there wasn't much that could fear her. Other than the forest creatures, such as rabbits and whatnot - - mountain lions and cougars and wolves would have no hesitation approaching.
Male. There was a significant difference between a male and a female's scent; and that pungent odor meant one thing. A testosterone charged male was nearby. Perhaps closer than her fading senses would give her. Apparently this one knew where he was headed, or at least knew his footing on the land. Unlike herself, whom clumsily slipped and gashed her flank open due to her cocky reasoning - - thinking that she could get wherever whenever she wanted, without being knowledgeable of the land first. Daytime would have been the best of discovery times, before she'd set off on foot for herself. Now, her senses became alive. The small hairs on her back-line prickling up, warning her. And she did the last thing anyone would probably expect her to do, she smiled and rotated her head from left to right.
Discovering the towering beast as his baritone filtered through her ears - and throughout the empty night sky, the only other noise being the belligerent waves; her immediate guess was something of a heavy but stunning lineage. A friesian, perhaps. Her head cocked to the side, portraying a failing innocence that was easiest to see through. A heavy urge to be the cold heart that she was born to be was pressing through her brain, urging her. It was nearly a temptation. There wasn't a way in this world he could be of the angelic alliance, no way. Not by the way he carried himself, he was noble. Not cocky, but proud in a way that lights did not have the audacity to be. He was at least two entire hands taller than her, and a slight possibility that he was even taller than that. "Yes, I do realize that, sugar. But hey, I'm in if you are," using her head to gesture towards the beckoning waves. "Come on, you're not such a big bad wolf if you're scared of the water."

Oh, this lovely mare knew that he was near, the way her body moved after his scent came into her nostril told it all, but watched her still from where he had stood prior. She was weak, the waves and the water had taken her energy and even though he was someone important in the demonic alliance, he knew when to offer sanctuary, if this mare was of the dark nature. No angelic pansy would be allowed to come into his land willingly, no they would be a prisoner until their time had been served and at the moment, he could not make that choice. This large beast had to find out who this mare was, what she was like and why she had come to this land and through the water? She could of come from the Northern Mountains or the Western deserts, why would she come from the west through the great water?
The petite mare started to stand; her body was worn down, covered in sand and rocky bits that had washed on her and still clung to her. As she stood, he noticed what it took from her to stand firmly, she was a bit wobbly, but he knew she probably did need help… but he wouldn’t give her anything. Help was not in his list of things to give or do for anyone. The creature would have to help herself if she wanted anything from the might beast that stood near her now.
The creature knew that he was near, it was very much apparent as she moved her head from left to right and then saw him standing over her, his dark eyes upon her as he waited to see what she was doing here and what she was like. She had smelt him, though he was sure her senses were not as acute right now since waking from the water that had beaten her into the sands. The stance of the beast was strong, his body firmly planted in the sandy beach as he watched her, noting her face held something innocent, but it faded quickly and didn’t last long. Was she at first going to attempt a game? Oh, why did mares have to play games, it was such a normal thing and so predictable it seemed. ”Yes, I do realize that, sugar. But hey, I'm in if you are." He snorted for a moment, looking at her as she motioned towards the waves. ”Come on, you're not such a big bad wolf if you're scared of the water." His face held little emotion as he looked upon her. ”I do not fear the water I grew up near for years, but I am not as foolish as young colts of fillies… I respect the waves that can kill and here at Dagda shores, those waves can and will try to kill you… I have much left in my life to finish before I allowed an act of foolishness to take me.” He said to the mare, his voice strong and deep.

The first wave of expression that the beast had given off to her was authority. He'd been here much longer than others, she could tell that much, just by the way he'd proudly held himself in front of her. Elegant in a way that most breeds would not be, which gave away the Friesian lineage to her, throwing away her second guesses. Blurry eyes from the water that had crept into the crevices of gave him a once-over, pillaging across his tall, brawny physique. Nothing or no one familiar. Although, an aura of torment and fiend had surrounded her. He wasn't here to harm her, or so she thought, or he would've done it by now. Her neck arching and her head lifted from the submissive-like position and she cocked an invisible brow. You're weak, there's no fooling anyone right now. Of course, it seemed like even her own brain was against her at this point but never ever would the female show another her guard was down and her strength was faltering.
He held little emotion for what she had to say, and amusement was at the last of the list when he told her of the waves ready to brutally tear you apart, and kill you. It seemed like that's what they were waiting for, almost. "You honestly do think I care, don't you?"
Of course she scared. Everyone was scared of death at a young age, would she sacrifice showing it? Never. A flick of her tail and her legs had found the deep willpower to pull her forward. Muscles grinding like gears and her body sauntering intimately close to the rocks. Concluding that one more step forward, and she was a goner. She'd hardly made it out of there in the first place, let alone be able to do it again with all energy drained. "You more than likely have plenty of questions for me," she murmured. Loud enough for his ears to catch if he could. "I'm not answering them until we play a game. I mean, unless you're a scaredy cat, I get that sweetheart, I get that a lot from stallions that think their big bad wolves like yourself. I'm not little Red Riding Hood, I'm not scared of you, or where you hail from, or even what rank you have that could bump me down quicker than a rock being dropped off of a cliff."Her facade held everything but the negatives. A slight amount of fear - - but it wasn't enough to make one boastfully laugh at her. It was a normal fear. One that didn't cause her to shake, but her mind to worry. A stallion nearly twice her size that was capable of anything that his mind desired. That's what made her fearful, the fact that she was putting herself in danger by speaking those words but she also held an aura of arrogance, her head still held vertically into the night sky as she awaited his reaction. notes || - - word count || 500 tagged || felix hell | renea[/blockquote][/blockquote]

What beast could say that he was born in a place full of death and ghost? This one could… Born in the old human hospital known as Wavery Hills… What beast could say that he was born into a family that held blood and lineage above anything and everything else. He could… His father had been the ruling stallion, had placed in him the knowledge to know breed from breed, so that he would not go out and breed every cute rump that walked around. This beast had taste and this mare was not one of those he had taste in. He saw no reason… Her lineage could not help his breed, she would not bring help to her breed… She would only cause problems for his breed if paired up. However, he saw no reason to place harm upon her, she might come in handy if she was worthy of being offered a place within’ his own herd. A herd that was not worthy of everyone, only of those he felt ready and worthy… He was not so sure about the recent addition known as Burnt Ashes… She was pregnant now, with a child from a stallion whom was not part of his herd. She would not tell him about the stallion, but he had not yet asked either.
As her neck arched, the beast watched her remove herself from a submissive position and look at him more. He knew though it was not a show of challenge, even she knew she was not going to win in a fight… not right now. No, she would not chance her own death to fight against him when he had not provoked her. However, she did not let her own guard down, she stood where she was and she was cautious. It was something that all needed to learn, but not all did… ”You honestly do think I care, don't you?" His eyes lingered on her own features for a mere moment, his voice came bland and quick. ”Not really.” He said, his voice lacking in emotion as he stood there, the sound of the waves crashing against the beach near them.
He stepped back for a moment, his body turning to where his eyes rested on the great water for a moment, wondering why he had even decided to walk this way. Hours prior, he had made the choice to come, but why had he decided to come? Was there some greater force pulling him to come? ”You more than likely have plenty of questions for me." He turned his eyes back to the bay, the dimly lit night caused problems on what she completely looked like. ”I'm not answering them until we play a game. I mean, unless you're a scaredy cat, I get that sweetheart, I get that a lot from stallions that think their big bad wolves like yourself. I'm not little Red Riding Hood, I'm not scared of you, or where you hail from, or even what rank you have that could bump me down quicker than a rock being dropped off of a cliff." He looked at her for a moment, turning his whole body to look at her. ”It is sad.”
|
He said, looking at her eyes, his own dark eyes focused on her for a moment. ”You merely proven my points on mares… They enjoy their pathetic games, that only prove they have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives… My questions don’t need answers mares, I don’t play foolish games.” He said, turning from her and moving down the beach, but slightly towards the forest. ”Predictable… So predictable.” WC. 595 TAG. ecstasy by miss mem COM. ^_^ SONG. warrior by disturbed [/blockquote]

You know what they all say: curiosity killed the cat and the mare was heading down that path. A cheshire cat smile graced her lips. Something had happened to him in the past, and it had made him carry a cold heart, like herself. Although, that didn't stop her from questioning anyone and everyone. Pushing them to their limit until they just wanted to literally snap her neck to make her stop. "Something's happened to you, hasn't it? Something's made you the way that you are today? Most don't cross their alliance over to the demonic side without usually something triggering it. Please, stop me if I'm pushing too far. You're what, a king of some kind around here? I'll take a guess on that by the way you carry yourself." Her smile faltered, all seriousness taking over her facade as she looked him over. It was too dim outside to discover any kind of scar or scratch or wound. Why was he here?
Surely, he had a top of the notch hill where he could look over others', especially at his massive height. It wouldn't be difficult for him to be a leader. Things usually bowed down to others taller than themselves, and if not, they rebelled - it was a 50/50 chance. Eyes tweaking slightly as she glimpsed at the waves, that were mere inches from the bottom of her legs. The sea god summoning for her. Greedy. It was the only word that she could think of to describe it - jumping in would only feed the belligerent water and make it want more. It was almost barbaric, depending on how you looked at it, as well as a beautiful sight to see. Some of the most beautiful things were fatal. Eat the wrong flower that was too pretty you couldn't resist? You're dead. Jump into the wrong end of the water and chance being hit by rocks or eaten by something larger than you? You're dead.
Her gaze began to refocus on the male near her when his tongue began to lash words directed for herself again. 'You merely proven my points on mares… They enjoy their pathetic games, that only prove they have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives… My questions don’t need answers mares, I don’t play foolish games.' She supposed it was a tad bit immature, for the foolish question game she was going to play and she was slightly struck by the blunt words before a deep frown covered her face. "I suppose it depends on how you look at it and dear, I don't have a pathetic life. I haven't the slightest clue as to how I got here and quite frankly, I don't want to be here."
Taking note of his movement down farther on the beach, and like any other, she followed. Tagging along like she'd known the beast for years - her neck outstretched nearly humiliatingly in front of her, the easiest way to find out where she was going. "Mind telling me where we're going?" Smartass. Her mind told her, and denial wasn't a thing that she was going to do right now. Her eyes beginning to adjust into the dim night, catching onto the thick foliage of what seemed to be a forest. notes || - - word count || 553 tagged || felix hell | renea[/blockquote][/blockquote]

As he stood there at first, looking over the sea as well as the mare whom had washed ashore recently, he noticed a smile coming across the mares face, one that told him she was about to be sneaky or cause problems. Just what he wanted, problems… He had enough problems ruling a whole alliance and making sure that things went smoothly until he was ready to destroy those known as the divine. ”Something's happened to you, hasn't it?” Eyes landed on the mare who spoke to him now. ”Something's made you the way that you are today? Most don't cross their alliance over to the demonic side without usually something triggering it. Please, stop me if I'm pushing too far. You're what, a king of some kind around here? I'll take a guess on that by the way you carry yourself." Well, the wretch was right on the king and sure, a lot of things had happened in his own life, but not to make him switch size, he was with the darks the moment his training started with his father and mother. He looked at the bay mare for a moment, the darkness hiding most details. ”Your partially correct… I did not have a trigger; it was how I was raised… But, I am a king in these parts.” He didn’t tell her what of, she was not around her so he kept that part silent.
This black beast did need to return to his land those, the home known as Kórház, which held the main feature as a old hospital. He had taken time to remove some items that were beyond nice and even clean up. It had taken time, being a horse was not easy, but at least he had managed. Too bad he didn’t have a group of slave humans to do the work for him, to understand when he spoke and do everything. That would make everything so much easier, would it not? It would require movement to the outside of the northern mountains and half those brainless humans could not understand horses, they were stupid and foolish, but maybe the sickness gave them a new gift to understand the horses. His eyes ran over to the sea, watched as it began to beat the shore even more and he thought about what beast lived under that sea. What creatures might lurk…
His point on mares being pathetic with their stupid games were very much on the true side. He had no time for them, why did they have to play games? Was that not the normal, predictable thing that those beings did. It was beginning to prove that much. He shook his head slightly, looking at her for a moment. ”I suppose it depends on how you look at it and dear, I don't have a pathetic life. I haven't the slightest clue as to how I got here and quite frankly, I don't want to be here." He looked at her for a moment and then back out at the water. ”Well, you could always go back the way you came, I am sure you will return to your old home… Though, possible not breathing.”
|
He said as he began to walk away. His strides were easy and even and the sound of another set of hooves caused the beast to glance around at the mare. ”Mind telling me where we're going?" He stopped and looked at her for a moment. ”I am returning to Kórház… My home in the Southern Land.” He said, his body returning to it movement towards the darkened trees. ”I do not know where you are going.” He said, a bit of humor in his voice. He had a feeling she was going to follow him home like a puppy. In her previous home, she hadn't the slightest clue of what alliances were - other than the two different kind of equine breeds. Everyone was equal, everyone was fair game, everyone was unique in a way that others weren't. If anything, she'd be one to favor the demonic side. Her mind taking the wild guess of the angelic side being the goody-two-shoes, the ones afraid to get their feet dirty, and the ones most definitely afraid of taking risks that could sometimes be better off in the end for their own or others' own well-being. The ones that were usually too concerned for themselves to fret about others, and even if it meant demonic, Ecstasy was quite sure that they stuck together, whether it be good or bad intentions - they were all on the same side with their neighbor. How else would all of them fit in the same alliance and hate one another?
Her mind reveled in the the thought, why hadn't they gone to war yet? Surely, it was going to happen. Who else would want another alliance, just on the other side of the land, conspiring against them? No one. No one wants to be able to walk and have to look back over their own shoulder every three seconds. Being a leader for even the littlest time in her previous world had taken its toll on her, she looked at everything different. The way ranks should be placed and earned, and the way that the higher up in the hierarchy you were - the more you were respected and talked good about, also bad, depending on the one talking about you. She grimaced, thinking of the times when she had found out that others had talked bad about her - in which, they had every right too. She was a cold hard bitch and arrogant beyond belief. She wasn't one of those ones who carried themselves with high authority and her nose stuck so far up in the air that it looked like she'd suffocate. She was just one of those mean, cruel and insulting mares that snapped in a millisecond and changed in another.
'Your partially correct… I did not have a trigger; it was how I was raised… But, I am a king in these parts.' She had a trigger, a bad one. One that he'd surely find out later on down the road if he decided he was sane enough to keep her around. A trigger that made most turn their heads and act like they hadn't heard it. She nodded slowly, absent minded and drowning in her own self train of thought. Struggling to resurface and her mind was swarming her with thoughts from the past as she heavily sighed, her head drooping to a small degree as if being worn down by too many thoughts at once before lifting back up immediately. "I don't think I've told you my name, have I? I'm Ecstasy. You can call me what you want, I'm sure your mind has come up with names for me already," she smirked after her use of smartass humor before continuing, "Yes, Ecstasy as in happiness or as in the drug that humans use. Whichever form of it you want to use to refer to me, they're both spelled the same."
'Well, you could always go back the way you came, I am sure you will return to your old home… Though, possible not breathing.' Her eyes narrowed to slits at him, shooting daggers at him before reminding herself not to get her feathers ruffled. No need to show him an open door of humiliation and jokes directed at her later on down the road about it. 'I am returning to Kórház… My home in the Southern Land.' She listened, about to let her jaws snap something worthy enough to irritate him yet again. ”I do not know where you are going.' She took note of the slight humor and a smirk spread across her face and shook her head - sending mixed colored mane filtering through the night sky and in every which way direction. "Oh, with you. You know, it'd be smart of you to keep me around. Even if you may think I'm just an irritation to you right now, something like a mosquito bite that won't stop itching, that's not true. You'll see why you should keep me around someday." notes || i'm starting to get the hang of it again! word count || 742 tagged || felix hell | renea[/blockquote][/blockquote]

This land had been plagued with the double alliance for a long time, Felix and his family had chosen the demonic side mostly because they felt that divine were too peaceful and gain did not come with peace. However, the divine here knew these as well and they did not fear getting dirty or bloody. They held different views, but no one knew the history of how the two alliance came, no horse had ever been able to remember or even pass the story down. It was hundreds of years ago. He knew that the divine were also very quick to help the other, to put themselves forward to protect their home. He would do the same, but he would not be quick to help unless the other was worthy enough to be helped. No, this beast no that giving something would not teach them something. They had to learn to help themselves.
War was near, but not yet, not until Felix had a good army who actually knew what the hell they were doing. Why would he wanted to send a group of equines out without the knowledge of fighting or how to fight as a group? No, he was not going to risk that, he wanted to win, not lose to those divine. He had a feeling, however, that the divine would not be the beings whom started the future war, it would have to be the demonics who were the ones who started it and he would not mind that at all. He, however, needed a response team that could begin and end a war with little effort…
The black beast moved closer to the forest, the bay mare following with little problem at all though he did not mind, he had not invited her and so, he would have to put up with him if she entered his land. They had hours of travels before they entered his land however, about two to be exact. He could walk at this pace and get there in plenty of time, besides, Burnt Ashes was on guard detail and he was sure she would be doing a fine job. She had more training that needed to be done, but she would get there, he had found faith in the mare, though something about her had come off after that first night, though she said she was fine.
Now, he had told her that he was a king, whether or not she figured out he was the main king of the Demonic, that was another story. He didn’t completely flaunt it, but most whom knew him had better respect him if they didn’t want to die upon the place their stood. He demanded respect just by the way he stood and he wanted it. He knew that the light king did not care for him, but that was because they were enemies. ”I don't think I've told you my name, have I?” Did he honesyly care, probably not. ”I'm Ecstasy. You can call me what you want, I'm sure your mind has come up with names for me already." He smirked ever so slightly at her words. ”Hmm… Perhaps, but I do not mind giving the respect to another by actually calling them the name that they want… Ecstasy.” He said, looking back at her for a moment and then looking forward. ”Yes, Ecstasy as in happiness or as in the drug that humans use. Whichever form of it you want to use to refer to me, they're both spelled the same." He snorted and glanced at her. Did she like the blabber? He did not care about the reason of her name, it was really useless information and it was something that did not mean anything. A name was a name, only meaning something to those whom had it.
As he had made the comment about returning to her previous home he noticed the narrowed eyes and the anger that moved within’ her features for a split moment. He smiled slightly, walking forward and entering the forest finally, stopping at her voice. ”Oh, with you. You know, it'd be smart of you to keep me around. Even if you may think I'm just an irritation to you right now, something like a mosquito bite that won't stop itching, that's not true. You'll see why you should keep me around someday." He turned his head towards her, his dark brown eyes black in the darkness that surrounded him. ”Give me a good reason, Ecstasy. Why should I invite you to my home, my land?”

He asked the mare, his darkness standing before her. His name still unknown to her, but he wanted to keep it that way for a bit, to see how long he could go without telling it to her. He did not trust her, she could easily be working for the lights and made this plan in hopes for him to find her. As the two traveling figures confronted the darkness inch by inch, the shadows began to envelope them. The massive stallion's body seemingly blending with it, as Ecstasy's eyes locked onto the swish of his tail, the movement of it causing a motion that her eyes could fixate onto. She wasn't going to let herself get lost in a place she didn't know. Trailing several yards behind the stallion, she began to let her intellect wander to other places other than here. To her previous home. To the close ones that she held deep in her heart, yet did not tell them. Her weak side, the thing you could talk about in front of her to weaken her and it would send a thorn in her side quicker than a bullet could pierce through skin and flesh. She inhaled sharply, the intake of it knocking the wind out of her and she coughed. Not a feminine petite cough, but a struggling cough. As if those memories were haunting her so much, that they were fighting to come up and spill back out over the top like an overfilled glass of liquid.
She shook her head, nearly violently as the tumbleweed-like knots of mane protested from the relaxed position, her pillars coming to a deadstop and her hooves sunk deep into the sand and dirt combination of the beach and she gave the stallion a dead, straight - on stare of all seriousness and she abruptly snorted, the angry, hot air blowing from her nostrils and outstretching into the firmament. "Where exactly do you come from, sir? And am I not allowed the presence of your name?" She murmured, her voice kept low as if she didn't want anyone to hear her. She supposed secrets were best for keeping, and that's what she was going to do. Why she was willing to trust him so easily crossed her naive mind before she could think twice about it. Her eyes narrowing to tiny slits as she glared at him, as if expecting him to turn around to face a wrath that wasn't necessarily frightening at all. It was actually kind of silly, seeing a mare her size... trying to frighten and scare away a stallion that.. well, could overpower her easily and hardly without a fight.
"I'm not quite sure if you want to know this, and I don't even know why I'm telling you. Perhaps it's because I think I can trust you, you're a stallion of your word. I can tell you that much by looking at you. I have respect for you, yet little knowledge of where you come from and who you are, nor do I really care - it may or may not change your mind about bringing me in under your wing. I wasn't always a demonic follower, I guess you could say. I've fallen in love before and I'm emotionally weak but I can fight like there's no tomorrow for what I believe in. Our alliance isn't seen through others' eyes as the best out there, but what they don't know is it helped me when the angels wouldn't. You do one bad thing and they shun you," she paused for a moment. Trying to convince him of why he should allow her to reside on his lands. "I will work my way from the bottom as high as you will allow to me to go. I've learned to respect those who are higher ranked than me, but to never bow down to anyone less than me. I'm smart, and I think I'd make a better addition than you think I would. Sir, you may not trust me. You may not even know me, but I promise I'm worth keeping around."

The forest was one of various trees; however pine seemed to be the main player in this land of trees. The needles laid upon the ground, hiding the dirt-sand that caused their own hooves to sink ever so slightly but it seemed to the needles allowed better stability for them. The darkness was soon engulfing the both of them, blacking out the dim light from the moon and incasing the beast within’ a blackness like no other. Brown eyes absorbed as much light as possible, his movement slow and steady until he was able to see again and his body relaxed with that fact. The mare stayed near, but behind slightly, he could hear her own footsteps that moved along the ground. Why would anyone want to follow a beast like himself? He wondered that as he looked ahead, his brown eyes taking in as much detail as possible in order to make sure danger was far away. He had a feeling this mare would be within’ his own herd soon and it wasn’t because he had found her but because she was following him.
The sound of something hitting something else caused him to glance back, the sigh of her shaking her head told him it was merely her wet mane that was hitting her neck. She was not very quiet, was she? Maybe it was just she was trying to get back on her feet after washing upon the shore of Beless. What world had she come from? He knew the rest of the world was still filled with humans, unless the diseases had followed them further. He had never seen a human, as the rumor had it that it was something in the land that had caused the sickness. Why had the horses not been affected then? ”Where exactly do you come from, sir? And am I not allowed the presence of your name?" He looked at her, stopping in his tracks as he turned his head slightly to looked at her in the darkness. His thought over his words carefully and gave a little smirk. ”I am from these lands, born and raised throughout the land.” He said to the mare and snorted slightly as he thought about giving her his name. ”I am Felix Hell… My family line goes back to the time of the humans…”

He said to her before turning back to continue on his way to his home. "I'm not quite sure if you want to know this, and I don't even know why I'm telling you.” Her voice came to his own ears easily and he barely glanced back, but his ears were pointed slightly backwards to hear her words. ”Perhaps it's because I think I can trust you, you're a stallion of your word. I can tell you that much by looking at you. I have respect for you, yet little knowledge of where you come from and who you are, nor do I really care - it may or may not change your mind about bringing me in under your wing.” Trust? This mare did not even know him and she thought that she could trust him? He could easily be leading her to a large herd of stallion who wanted to ravage her own body while he stood off and watched. He could be a stallion whom lusted for the strange taste of blood and maybe he was leading her to a thicket of throne with only one exit and that was through him… He could have been one of those stallions who wanted to ravage her body by himself and take what he wanted from here… Lucky for her… He probably wasn’t. ”I wasn't always a demonic follower, I guess you could say. I've fallen in love before and I'm emotionally weak but I can fight like there's no tomorrow for what I believe in. Our alliance isn't seen through others' eyes as the best out there, but what they don't know is it helped me when the angels wouldn't. You do one bad thing and they shun you," He snorted as he would barely know such things since he had been raised within’ the darkness of this alliance and he had been raised to hold certain standards that the divine had forgotten. It was a rather sad thing, but he didn’t care. He wanted power and he wanted this land. He would take the land one day… ”I will work my way from the bottom as high as you will allow to me to go. I've learned to respect those who are higher ranked than me, but to never bow down to anyone less than me. I'm smart, and I think I'd make a better addition than you think I would. Sir, you may not trust me. You may not even know me, but I promise I'm worth keeping around." He stopped at her words and turned his body to face her own. ”Your story is touching… Really is…” He said, though the sarcasm could be easily herd. ”You can come to my home, though you will start from the bottom and work your way up, that is easily figured out… However, you should know I take no shit within’ my herd as it is one that will lead the demonic alliance in the right direction… It is the royal herd… I am not just the king of some herd, I am the Demonic King, I control the Demonic Alliance and I have standards that must be met.” He said, flicking his tail before turning back towards the direction of his home, looking back at her. ”Do you still wish to join, Ecstasy?” WC. 930 TAG. ecstasy by miss mem COM. go to the demonic royal herd and reply to the open joining thread; SONG. warrior by disturbed [/blockquote]
