Kiharn trotted along the forest floor, the pine needles beneath him making a crisp crunching sound every time his hoof hit the ground. He absent mindedly flicked his ears, and sniffed the air, searching for any other horses scents on the wind. He frowned when he found none and kept walking, until that is, he came upon a cracked old pavement road, long abandoned by the humans. It only served as a small distraction, for soon he was off at a brisk trot once again.
Anyone feel free to join!

Kiharn stopped in his tracks as he scented another horse near him. How had he missed it? With little caution he moved towards the other horse scent, until he came upon a larger brown stallion sipping from the stream. "Hello." He stated calmly, preparing himself to fight if the other horse was violent.

Kiharn studied the horse silently. He was larger then himself, but seemed younger. He also hadn't seemed to make any move suggesting violence. Kiharn relaxed visibly, his muscles unclenching. "I haven't seen another horse for a long time. My name is Kiharn, it's nice to meet you" He said before smiling at the other stallion.

Kiharn noticed the stallion studying him, and made no move to stop him. He wanted to show he meant no harm, and if is past experiences were any help, staying calm was very effective.

Weighlin did not mean no harm he was actually sort of relieved that there was another horse he had been alone for as long as Weighlin could remember. ''I have never seen you around here before, what brigs you here?'' Weighlin asked trying to trick the stallion into thinking that he had been with other horses before.

Kiharn's ears flicked backwards before he answered. " I was chased from my herd, when I came upon this land. It has been many months since I last saw another stallion, and even then they were trying to kill me." He chuckled quietly, thinking of his past ordeals with lead stallions.

''Is it fun being in a herd?'' Weighlin asked taking a step forward and putting one ear back unsure of Kiharn.

Kiharn laughed out loud at this. "Being in a herd is only fun if your the lead stallion, or if you want protection. Other then that it's just boring and slow. Eventually I just gave up on finding a decent one. They're all, the same. Stuffy and stiff."

''I've never been in a herd, the truth is you are the only other horse that I have seen except for my mother'' Weighlin put his head down embarrassed.

"Be happy about it. No need to embarrassed really. Many horses have never survived outside a herd. I admire your ability to survive this long" Kiharn told the younger stallion.

Kiharn snorted before wandering whether the stallion was going to become a permanent edition to the forest. "Do you plan on staying here long? I was just passing, trying to find a field or two. Would you like to join me in my search? Maybe we could find some mares, make a new herd of our own. One devoid of stagnant activity or routines." Kiharn mentioned hopefully.
