Kiharn smiled slightly at the young stallions joyful prancing. At the moment he seemed to be grazing, so he dropped his head down to feed as well. Tonight they should probably rest, and tomorrow, search for so e followers to join their budding group. Kiharn noticed the long shadows strewn across the fields and looked to the sky. Night was approaching quite quickly.

Kiharn made his way over to a particularly soft patch of grass a few meters from Weighlin and lay down as well, slipping off into a lights sleep.

Weighlin woke in early morning and went off to the stream and took a sip of cold water then stood there for a second not sure. He was born here raised here and lived here all of his life it would be hard to leave here, but he always wanted to try things new, so why not, he thought.

Kiharn awoke with a lazy yawn and looked around after opening his eyes. The morning dew had become a layer of frost, causing a cold ache in his bones. His eyes caught sight of Weighlin by the stream and he groaned slightly as he lifted his body from the ground. He shook his shaggy winter pelt, and headed for the stream as well, before taking a drink of the cool crystal clear water. Kiharn lifted his head and looked at the other horse, before saying "It's getting colder, we should begin our journey soon, or else we shall be forced to trudge through the thick winter snow."

Weighlin looked at Kiharn before slightly nodding his head, he ran to the edge of the forest looking into the trees, then he looked at his new friend gestured him to come and looked at his meadow knowing for some reason he would see this place again, then he turned his head to the forest and trotted into the trees.

Kiharn took off at a brisk trot after Weighlin, happy to get moving, and hopefully warm up a bit. He followed silently for the most part, occasionally scenting the air for more horses, always coming up empty except for his new Pal's smell. It looked like they were opt to just wing it. " Maybe we should head deeper into the forest. I've heard tales of horses going there to escape bad pasts. Maybe they'd be willing to start a new one with us." Kiharn explained.

''okay'' Weighlin looked back at the other stallion then moved his pace up to a gallop. He ran through the trees and onto thicker forest, the air was sweet and the birds were chirping in the early morning. Weighlin slowed down to a trot, then he stopped and put his head down to graze and he waited for Kiharn.

Kiharn snorted in surprise as Weighlin took off into the forest. The other horse was much faster then himself, and he soon took off after him. Kiharn had never much been a runner, he preferred brute strength over light swiftness. He lost sight of the stallion before long, but was able to follow his nose until he came upon Weighlin grazing. His lungs burned and his chest heaved as he tried to catch his breath. "You're... really... fast." Kiharn heaved between words, and dropped his head down a bit. After a few minutes for a breather he spoke once more. "Whew, those long legs of yours really help in the long run don't they." He said with a hint of playfulness to his voice. His breathing was still heavy from the running, and a light sheen of sweat had coated itself over him, and he silently hoped it didn't freeze. That would mean some real trouble.

''Sorry'' Weighlin lifted his head still chewing the rest of his grass, he snorted and looked at Kiharn, who was draped in sweat, and laughed. The sun was setting, Weighlin looked stunned it still seemed to be morning, but the sun was setting and it was time to rest.

Kiharn saw Weighlin gazing at the sky as well, and began to realize it was time to settle in. Heaving a sigh, he started to wind down and go to bed, promptly falling asleep.

Weighlin did the same, he snuggled in tall grass and fell asleep. The sun rose early and bright Weighlin woke and headed his way to the stream, but wait there was no stream! Weighlin was shocked, all of his life he woke is his meadow a got a sip of water from his stream, and now there was no stream he searched throughout the opening of trees he slept in, no sounds of running water. He made it to the edge of the opening and there it was, the sound of fast moving water, he took off his mouth dry and raced through the trees. He made it a good mile or so until there was a small stream right in his tracks, the stream was not as big as his back in the pasture where he had been born, but it was big enough for a horse his size to drink in it. He put his big snout in the stream and drank from its water, he was so relieved he did not know water could taste so good, he drank some more until he was full of H2O.Then Weighlin laid down underneath a tree and let his stomach digest the water.
