Social Assistance Surveillance is part of the objectives of the Organic Social Assistance Law, together with social protection and the defense of rights, and from this perspective it is essential to understand how these objectives are configured Petroleum Manufacturers Email Lists and what their implications are in the lives of individuals who need social assistance, bearing in mind that it is the right of the citizen and the duty of the state. In this way, the aim is to answer: what are the possibilities of using Social Assistance Surveillance to support decision-making in the Unified Social Assistance System? Aiming to analyze the use of Social Assistance Surveillance as a tool for deliberation about Social Assistance actions.
The present study was carried out through a bibliographic review and documentary analysis, taking a qualitative approach. The theoretical framework was based on the analyzes of Behring (2016), Boschetti (2009), Bertollo (2016), among others. This research provided a reflection on the Social Assistance Surveillance sector and the scope of social assistance policy, in addition to identifying its importance for users.

INTRODUCTION The Federal Constitution of 1988 represents a historic milestone for the Brazilian population, because through its political nature, in which it broke with a military regime, it was possible to give way to a democratic regime of rights, essentially ensuring in its article 194 that social security must be understood as an integrated set of actions, involving Public Authorities and society, aimed at guaranteeing rights relating to health, social security and social assistance.
According to Carvalho (2011): Alongside the appreciation of rights, the belief also develops that the way to realize them is the public mobilization of the feeling of justice […]. In other words, it is considered increasingly important that rights are strongly connected with the full political autonomy of individuals, so that they are not experienced as “favors” granted by rulers, philanthropists, patrons or equivalents (CARVALHO, 2011, p. 105).
