Experience tells us that in every crisis three categories of protagonists inevitably appear: public managers, victims and profiteers. In theory, the former are responsible for defending the general interest, protecting the latter and preventing abuses by third parties . Only theory is not always easy to put into practice. And some public managers interpret the general interest in a particular way. And the blows always tend to fall on the weakest. And the profiteers manage to not stop taking advantage. So far this century we have had the misfortune of being able to compare two major crises and two alternative ways of dealing with them: the financial-speculative crisis in the second decade, and the chained pandemic-war crisis in this third. The scenarios are different but comparable. The challenges and the different ways of facing them have been significant. And the three types of protagonists have run, are running, very different luck. This Government is not going to be intimidated.

Pensions were cut by that disastrous 0.25. Social budgets were reduced. Everything from public housing to hospitals were privatized . Indirect taxes such as VAT were raised... At the same time, tax amnesties were implemented for major fraudsters .
The large banks in difficulty were rescued with public money. Private pensions benefited fiscally. It was legislated to protect urban speculation… The PP does not vote for laws, it sabotages them The result for the protagonists is visible. The right-wing managers met expectations. Workers, pensioners, young people and socially excluded people lost and became poorer. The profiteers, speculators, big bankers, speculators and fraudsters won. Why is Pedro Sánchez's Government receiving furious and unrestrained attacks from the first moment ? Because it is firmly determined that the balance of this crisis will be very different from the previous one, because it acts accordingly, and because the profiteers react with violence in defense of their unjust and spurious interests.
